Connect With Your Council Member

Want to learn about how you can advocate for the City of Austin to act on the issues most important to you? Join us on Zoom or at the Windsor Park Library (5833 Westminster Drive, Austin, TX 78723) to learn how you can make your voice heard at City Council. We will learn what City Council does, how to stay updated on City Council happenings, and end the night by connecting with our council members through an email/letter-writing session. District 9 Council Member Zo Qadri will also be in attendance to speak on the importance of local government to the AAPI community and to answer questions from community members.

Raffle prizes will include Asian Texans for Justice swag and gifts from local Asian-owned Austin eateries, such as:

• $50 Sip Pho gift card

• $50 Steamies voucher

• Coffee beans and other merchandise from Mi Mundo Coffeehouse

In-person attendees will receive two entries per person, and virtual attendees will receive one entry per person. The raffle will be conducted at the end of the event.
