Community Conversation: How Palestinian, Arab, and Muslim Groups are Building Power and Solidarity

Community Conversation: How Palestinian, Arab, and Muslim Groups are Building Power and Solidarity

(Thursday, January 18th, 1pm EST/10am PST)

Over the past 100 days, organizations working with Palestinian, Arab, and Muslim communities in the United States have been in rapid response mode in order to raise awareness about the genocide in Gaza, address unprecedented backlash in the United States, and build solidarity across communities and movements.

Join Muslims for Just Futures and Building Movement Project for a public webinar on Thursday, January 18th to learn more about the current context and to understand the range of infrastructure needs emerging from organizations and the field at large.

Panelists include Abed Ayoub, American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee; Ahmad Abuznaid, US Campaign for Palestinian Rights; Sahar Pirzada, HEART; Loan Tran, Rising Majority; and Stefanie Fox, Jewish Voice for Peace. The webinar will be moderated by Darakshan Raja (MJF) and Deepa Iyer (BMP).  We will also be releasing a brief that synthesizes in real time what Palestinian, Arab, and Muslim communities need to build power and solidarity.
