WASHINGTON D.C. — On Saturday, June 25, 2022, Asian Texans for Justice will join APIAVote, Advancing Justice-AAJC, and more than 50 civil rights organizations to push socioeconomic and cultural equity, racial justice, and solidarity. The Unity March is the first-ever march on Washington led by Asian Americans. It will be held at 12 PM at the National Mall and over 15,000 are expected to attend.

“Last year Texas passed one of the country's most regressive voter suppression bills. Despite that, we continue to see Asian American voters turn out, demanding equity for all Americans. The Asian American population grew by 81% between 2000 and 2019 - faster than any other racial group. Our voice, vote, and power are growing - and we need to make sure we’re heard on November 8.”

- Lily Trieu, Interim-Executive Director of Asian Texans for Justice
